Real people holding the caricatures drawn for them at events. A look at the reactions and the keepsakes guests take home.
Live caricatures of people at Sydney events
Nelson Matoma draws live caricatures of guests at weddings, corporate events and parties across Sydney. Each guest takes a seat while Nelson draws their face by hand. He spends about 5 to 7 minutes per person, so he can usually complete 7 to 9 caricatures an hour.
What each guest takes home
- A hand-drawn caricature on A3 paper, in black and white or colour.
- The finished drawing in a clear protective plastic sleeve, ready to carry home.
- At live events, one person costs $50 in black and white or $80 in colour, and each extra person in the same drawing adds $30.
