Terms of Use and Sale

These terms apply when you use nelsonmatoma.com, send an enquiry or buy from the shop. The website is run by Nelson Matoma, a caricature artist and illustrator based in Sydney, NSW, Australia ("we" or "us"). By using the site or placing an order you agree to these terms.

Using the website

You may browse the site and use it for its intended purposes. Please do not misuse it, try to break or overload it, or use it to send spam or anything unlawful.

Enquiries and bookings

Sending an enquiry does not create a booking. A live caricature booking is confirmed only when Nelson confirms the date, time, venue and price with you directly. Quotes depend on the details you give us.

Shop orders

• All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD).
• Postage is a flat rate of $9.95 per order within Australia. We currently deliver to Australia only.
• Payment is taken securely by Stripe when you place your order. We never see or store your full card number.
• Every item is printed to order by our print partner. Production and delivery times, and what happens if something goes wrong, are set out in our Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy.
• If we cannot fill an order, or a price or product detail on the site is clearly wrong, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

Your consumer rights

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

Artwork and intellectual property

The artwork, caricatures, designs, photos and text on this site belong to Nelson Matoma or are used with permission. Buying a product gives you the product, not the right to copy or reproduce the artwork. Please ask before using anything from this site.

Links to other sites

The site links to other websites, such as Stripe, Google, Instagram and YouTube. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss that arises from your use of the website, or from events outside our reasonable control such as carrier delays. This does not limit any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when they were last changed. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
